ENDORPHIN
Natural Pain remover

Acupuncture is a great support for hormone regulation. With regular acupuncture treatments the body will regulate it’s endocrine functions, stimulate hypothalamus and the pituitary gland, which produce a peptide to CNS when the body is subjected to a stress. This peptide is an endogenous opioid biochemical compound, better known as an endorphin. Notice that the scientific name of this compound has the root opioid, meaning that it belongs to the group of chemicals known to most people as opiates. The use of opiates is stigmatized in our society because drugs such as heroin, methadone and morphine, which are highly addictive, are part of the opioid family. Yet, the endorphins that are naturally produced in our bodies are of a very similar structure, and therefore have a similar function as the aforementioned drugs. Endorphin is a natural pain remover. Many acupuncture points are located near the nerve, when the needles are inserted, it causes dull achy pain or feeling of fullness, which means that needles stimulate muscles and send the message to CNS. CNS receives the message and release endorphin, which block the pain signals and promote well being.
Acupuncture is great for relieving pain as well as providing relief from sleeplessness, anxiety, and issues surrounding trauma. Best of all, acupuncture happens to be a drug free method for easing any pain. Some of the painful conditions that it can deal with include neck pain, whiplash, sciatica, leg pain, knee pain, back pain, headaches, and disc injuries.
